What is a Signature Exterior Detail?
Our Signature Exterior Detail is a thorough cleaning of your vehicle's entire exterior, including paint, glass, wheels, tires, and door jambs. Every surface is hand washed, the paint is deep using a clay decontamination process to remove bonded contaminants like industrial fallout, tree sap, and road film, then sealed with a ceramic-based sealant for up to three months of protection and enhanced gloss. The result is a smooth, clean, and protected finish from top to bottom.

-
Brake dust and road grime can take a toll on your wheels and tires. Our wheel and tire cleaning service restores brightness to grimy, brake dust-covered wheels and our included tire dressing gives your tires a new rich-black look. While we're at it, we'll also give your wheel wells a thorough clean to knock down all that mud and road salt.
-
Before we ever lay a finger on your paint, your vehicle undergoes a pre-rinse to soften and remove most, if not all, of the road grime, loose dirt, and bugs from its surface. This process is essential for protecting your car's surface by significantly reducing dirt and grime contamination before we even start our Gentle Hand Wash.
-
The most effective way to clean your car remains a hands-on contact wash. We encapsulate and safely remove surface dirt and loose contaminants by using a modern hybrid rinseless wash system. This proven system leaves behind a clean paint surface, ready for the next step in our detail process.
-
Even after washing, your vehicle’s paint can still hold onto embedded contaminants like road tar, rail dust, and industrial fallout. Using a specialized clay rag, we safely lift and remove these bonded particles from the paint’s surface. This process leaves the finish smooth and clean, creating the perfect foundation for long-lasting paint protection.
-
When water evaporates on your vehicle’s surface, it leaves behind mineral deposits that can form water spots, especially with hard water. Using a soft microfiber drying towel quickly and effortlessly dries your car, reducing the likelihood of water spots developing on your paint surface.
-
The job isn't finished once your car is clean. Applying a ceramic sealant will help ensure that your car's paint continues to look great long after the detail is complete. The ceramic sealant allows water to bead and shed off the vehicle, while making it easier to clean during your next detail.

Exterior Detail FAQ’s
-
Most standard exterior details take two to four hours. Heavily soiled vehicles, larger trucks, or SUVs can take four to six hours or more. Time depends on the vehicle size, how dirty it is, and whether it needs extra decontamination or wheel and trim work. We always assess the vehicle or review detailed photos before confirming an accurate timeframe. This helps us schedule properly and deliver the thorough results you expect. Send us pictures or book a quick assessment so we can give you a reliable timeline.
-
No, we cannot guarantee 100% removal of every mark. Our Exterior Detail is highly effective at removing surface contamination, embedded dirt, industrial fallout, bug splatter, and tar. It also significantly reduces or eliminates many light surface blemishes and etch marks caused by bird droppings, water spots, or tree sap.
Deeper scratches or etch marks that have penetrated into the clear coat usually cannot be fully removed with detailing alone. Attempting to do so could result in additional damage to the surface, which can lead to premature failure later. In those cases, our Paint Correction service is the better option.
We always focus on safely improving what’s possible. Send us clear photos of the areas you’re concerned about and we’ll give you an honest assessment of what an exterior detail can achieve versus what would need paint correction.
-
No. Our Exterior Detail focuses on thorough washing, decontamination, wheel and trim cleaning, and protecting the current finish. It does not include polishing or paint correction, which removes swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, or other defects in the paint. Those are handled in our separate Paint Correction services. If you’re concerned about the condition of your paint, mention it when you book, or send a few photos. We can direct you to the right service and give you a clear quote.

We offer four targeted add-ons that can be added to any exterior detail: Black Trim Restoration, Paint Correction, Engine Bay Detailing, and Undercarriage Wash & Flush. These address specific concerns that go beyond a standard clean. Black trim restoration goes deeper than the basic dressing we already include, while paint correction removes blemishes, etch marks, and light scratches. Engine bay detailing thoroughly cleans the engine compartment and undercarriage wash and flush removes heavy dirt, salt, and road grime from underneath the vehicle. We’ll recommend the right ones for your vehicle after reviewing photos or doing a quick inspection so you only pay for what you actually need.
-
A Wash Clay Seal is a quicker maintenance service for vehicles that are already in decent shape. It includes a safe hand wash, clay treatment to remove embedded contaminants, and a sealant for basic protection and shine. This option is designed for regular upkeep on well-maintained vehicles.
Our full Exterior Detail is more thorough and takes significantly longer. In addition to the wash and clay treatment, we clean wheels, tires, wheel wells, door jambs, and all exterior glass. We also perform extra decontamination, remove stuck-on bugs and tar, apply dressing to black plastic and trim, and use proper drying techniques to prevent water spots and swirl marks.
Most customers choose the full Exterior Detail when their vehicle is heavily soiled or hasn’t been professionally detailed in a while. If you’re not sure which service best fits your vehicle, send us a few photos and we’ll recommend the right option.

For most daily driven vehicles, we recommend a Wash, Clay, Seal quick wash every month, followed up with our Signature Exterior Detail every 6 to 9 months. Local conditions like heavy summer bugs, tree sap, spring pollen, and constant road grime cause contamination to build up faster than most people expect.
If you park outside, drive on gravel roads, or own a car or truck that sees heavier use, every 3 to 6 months keeps it looking its best with less effort between visits. Regular professional detailing protects your paint, makes maintenance easier, and helps your vehicle stay cleaner longer. We’re happy to help you set a schedule that fits your specific driving habits.
-
A professional exterior detail uses quality products, specialized tools, and proper techniques that a basic carwash cannot match. We thoroughly wash, decontaminate, clean wheels and trim, and dry everything by hand to avoid scratches. This takes skill and time, but it delivers noticeably better results that last longer and help protect your paint. Many customers find the professional finish saves them time on future cleaning and keeps their vehicle looking newer. The price reflects the expertise and materials required to do the job right the first time.
-
Automatic car washes are convenient, but they often leave dirt behind in wheels, undercarriage, and crevices. The big rotating brushes can scratch your paint, damage trim, mirrors, antennas, and wiper arms, and create swirl marks over time. Those swirls show up as fine scratches that dull your vehicle’s finish. A professional exterior detail uses proper hand-washing, safe tools, and thorough cleaning techniques that actually protect the paint instead of harming it.
-
Our standard exterior detail does not automatically include the inside of a truck bed. We can add this as an optional service if the bed is reasonably empty and free of heavy debris. There may be an additional charge because it requires extra time and labor. Just let us know when you book or send photos, and we’ll quote the upgrade for you.

Life happens, and we understand that. We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule so we can offer the spot to another customer. Appointments changed with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a 10% cancellation or rescheduling fee. This policy protects our schedule and helps us keep prices reasonable for everyone. If something comes up, just call or text us as soon as possible.
Customers with multiple cancellations or reschedules may be required to pay a 50% non-refundable retainer before future appointments will be scheduled.
