What is a Multi-Step Paint Correction?
A Multi-Step Paint Correction significantly reduces scratches, heavy oxidation, and widespread surface damage through multiple progressive polishing stages while maximizing clarity and gloss. This process helps to repair and restore severely damaged or neglected paint making it ideal for older vehicles, daily drivers showing years of wear, or enthusiast cars. A Multi-Step Paint Correction produces the best possible finish for your vehicle.

The first step for any paint correction. An exterior wash cleans away all the surface level dirt, road film, and loose contaminants.
-
Removes all bonded contaminants like iron, tar, and minerals from the paint surface with clay and chemical decontamination, leaving it completely clean and ready for polishing.
-
We take detailed measurements across every panel, and between each step to confirm we're removing defects safely while protecting thin areas and not compromising clear coat integrity.
-
We perform an aggressive cutting step that reduces heavy defects, followed by one or more refining steps that progressively improves clarity and eliminates haze from prior steps.
-
We perform quality checks after every polishing step to ensure we're progressing toward optimal results, measure paint thickness, and catch any issues before moving forward.
-
The last step for any vehicle not receiving a ceramic coating. Offers 1-3 months of protection for your freshly polished paint, helping to ensure it continues to look great until your next wash.

What is a One-Step Paint Enhancement?
A One-Step Paint Enhancement uses a single polishing stage to remove light swirl marks, minor surface marring, and oxidation while significantly improving gloss and clarity. This process addresses the most visible surface defects that dull your paint's appearance without the time and cost of multi-stage correction, making it ideal for well-maintained vehicles needing a refresh or as preparation for a ceramic coating application.

Paint Correction FAQ’s
-
A Multi-Step Paint Correction is an advanced detailing process involving multiple polishing steps to achieve the best possible finish for your vehicle. It significantly reduces scratches, heavy oxidation, and widespread surface damage through multiple progressive polishing stages while maximizing clarity and gloss. This process helps to repair and restore severely damaged or neglected paint making it ideal for older vehicles, daily drivers showing years of wear, or enthusiast cars.
-
A One-Step Paint Enhancement is a detailing process that aims to improve the appearance of a vehicle's paint by removing minor imperfections such as swirl marks, light scratches, and oxidation in a single polishing step.
-
A traditional Multi-Step Paint Correction significantly reduces scratches, heavy oxidation, and widespread surface damage through multiple progressive polishing stages to significantly improve heavily oxidized or damaged paint. A One-Step Paint Enhancement simplifies this process by performing polishing and finishing at the same time, making it more efficient and cost-effective for well-maintained paint that does not require aggressive corrective methods.
-
We do not offer Multi-Step Paint Corrections or One-Step Paint Enhancements without an exterior wash. To perform any paint correction correctly, the exterior of your vehicle must be clean, which requires the exterior to be washed and decontaminated first. An exterior wash and decontamination are included in the price of both of our paint correction services.
-
A One-Step Paint Enhancement is ideal for addressing minor surface defects such as swirl marks, light scratches, water spots, and haze. However, it may not be suitable for deep scratches or severe paint damage.
-
A Multi-Step Paint Correction is ideal for addressing tougher surface defects such as significant swirl marking, deeper scratches, widespread surface damage, and heavy oxidation.
-
A One-Step Polish can significantly improve the appearance of your vehicle's paint by removing most minor imperfections and improving gloss, however, it’s not meant to repair deep scratches or severe paint damage. In such cases, a Multi-Step Paint Correction may be a better option.
-
A Multi-Step Paint Correction will repair more imperfections than a One-Step Paint Enhancement and can significantly improve the appearance of your car's paint, however, it may not safely remove all defects. Deep scratches or severe paint damage may require touch-up paint or refinishing, and to attempt to remove defects 100% could result in significant permanent damage to your vehicles finish.
-
Yes, you can request a One-Step Paint Enhancement as a mobile service, however, we ask that you limit your service to exterior only. This is due to the added complexity and time requirements needed to polish your vehicle.
-
Unfortunately, we do not offer Multi-Step Paint Correction as a mobile service for two main reasons: time and quality control. A Multi-Step Paint Correction can take all day, or even multiple days to complete, which isn't practical for mobile detailing. Additionally, having a controlled environment is crucial for optimal results, and it's easier to maintain such conditions at our location.
