What is a Wash, Clay, and Seal?
A Wash, Clay, and Seal removes embedded contaminants regular washing can't touch, including industrial fallout, tree sap, rail dust, and tar. We hand wash your vehicle, clay the entire surface to extract these contaminants, then apply a ceramic-based sealant providing up to three months of protection and enhanced gloss. The result is a smooth, high-gloss paint surface that looks and feels like new.

Brake dust and road grime can take a toll on your wheels and tires. Our wheel and tire cleaning service restores brightness to grimy, brake dust-covered wheels and our included tire dressing gives your tires a new rich-black look. While we're at it, we'll also give your wheel wells a thorough clean to knock down all that mud and road salt.
-
Before we ever lay a finger on your paint, your vehicle undergoes a pre-rinse to soften and remove most, if not all, of the road grime, loose dirt, and bugs from its surface. This process is essential for protecting your car's surface by significantly reducing dirt and grime contamination before we start our Gentle Hand Wash.
-
The most effective way to clean your car remains a hands-on contact wash. We encapsulate and safely remove surface dirt and loose contaminants by using a modern hybrid rinseless wash system. This proven system leaves behind a clean paint surface, ready for paint protection or additional paint enhancement.
-
Even after washing, your vehicle’s paint can still hold onto embedded contaminants like road tar, rail dust, and industrial fallout. Using a specialized clay rag, we safely lift and remove these bonded particles from the paint’s surface. This process leaves the finish smooth and clean, creating the perfect foundation for long-lasting paint protection.
-
When water evaporates on your vehicle’s surface, it leaves behind mineral deposits that can form water spots, especially with hard water. Using a soft microfiber drying towel quickly and effortlessly dries your car, reducing the likelihood of water spots developing on your paint surface.
-
The job isn't finished once your car is clean. Applying a ceramic sealant will help ensure that your car's paint continues to look great long after the detail is complete. The ceramic sealant allows water to bead and shed off the vehicle, while making it easier to clean during your next detail.

What’s better than a freshly detailed vehicle? A matching detailed engine bay. Maintaining a tidy engine bay is how you set yourself apart from the average car enthusiast. It’s not just about looks either. Having a clean engine bay makes it easier to spot small leaks or worn components before they become major issues, while also making maintenance easier. It’s a win-win.

Road salt, mud, and debris accumulates in your frame and lower body panels causing rust and corrosion that compromises your vehicle's looks, structural integrity, and resale value. Our Underbody Wash uses a foaming soap and water pressure to safely penetrate, lift, and rinse away harmful contaminants from hard-to-reach areas, protecting your investment from hidden damage.

Exterior Detail FAQ’s
-
We typically don't include detailing the inside of a truck bed in our standard services. However, if you'd like us to include this in your detailing package, let us know, and we'll try to accommodate your request, as long as the bed is reasonably clear of belongings or debris.
-
The duration of a car detail can vary based on several factors. Whether it's an interior or exterior detail, the size of the vehicle, and the level of dirtiness all play significant roles in determining the time required. While some details can be completed within a couple of hours, others may extend to a multi-day process, depending on the specific service requested. Due to these variables, we are unable to provide an accurate time estimate until we have assessed the vehicle or received detailed pictures. This allows us to better understand the scope of work and provide you with the most precise timeframe for completion as we strive to deliver the highest quality results tailored to your vehicle's needs.
-
We understand that unexpected events happen, but we ask for a minimum of 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your detail appointment. If the appointment is canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice, we may charge a cancellation/rescheduling fee of 10% of the scheduled service price.
Customers with multiple cancellations or reschedules may also be required to pay a 50% non-refundable retainer before future appointments can be scheduled.

There are a couple of reasons why we cannot guarantee 100% removal of scratches. Firstly, some scratches may penetrate through your car’s clearcoat into the paint layer, and in some cases, even down to the primer or metal. Once a scratch reaches this depth, it necessitates repair through repainting and/or re-clearcoating. Secondly, even if a scratch hasn't penetrated through the clear entirely, it may still be deep enough to require significant removal of clearcoat material to eliminate it, risking the thinning of your clearcoat in that area. This thinning could potentially lead to premature clearcoat failure in the future. While we always strive to minimize the appearance of scratches and achieve the best possible results, these factors contribute to the inability to guarantee complete scratch removal in all cases.

Springfield certainly has its fair share of drive-through car washes, and while automatic car washes can be convenient and fun to drive through, they often fall short in delivering a thorough clean for your vehicle. They usually leave behind dirt or grime in hard-to-reach areas, such as around the wheels or on the undercarriage. Additionally, the large rotating brushes used in these washes are notorious for causing damage to trim, mirrors, antennas, wiper arms, and even the vehicle's paint.

There’s so much more that goes into detailing a car than just a bucket of soapy water and a sponge. Professional detailing involves utilizing high-quality materials, specialized equipment, and skilled labor to achieve the best possible finish for your car's paint. While our prices are higher than DIY alternatives, the value lies in the superior quality, expertise, and long-term benefits our services provide for your vehicle's appearance and preservation.
